“For the Record”

This piece was originally a record cabinet from the 1960’s.

It now has a faux marble top and raised stencil pattern on the door fronts. Then the door fronts and sides were silver-leafed, distressed and antiqued. The interior is painted a metallic red with an added adjustable shelf. New door pulls were also installed.

“Lincoln”

This crane was found in a thrift shop. It had been painted pink, probably on the erroneous assumption that it was a flamingo.

Lincoln is now finished in a beautiful bronze patina.

“One Man’s Trash”

This piece was found in the trash with a broken leg and badly painted in ‘UPS’ brown.

It now has a beige pearlescent finish with a black geometric design and accents. Part of the design was created using faucet washers which support the glass top. Another unique addition to this piece it the curly fringe around the bottom of the table.

“Miss Chatelaine Goes to St. Tropez”

This end table was a flea-market find from the 60’s.

This tropical inspired finish was created using an original hand cut stencil with a spatter finish to mimic mid-century linoleum. The edges are finished with a ribbon & button trim.

“Thanksgiving”

This dining table was left behind by the previous tenant of my studio.

It now sports a country inspired hand-stenciled pattern in rust, purple, peach and cream.

“You’re not Getting Older….”

Mirror frame refinished in distressed, antique crackle finish.

“Galloping Gazelles”

A 70’s era coffee table supplied by the client.

This table combines many finishes including ragging, spattering, verdigris and stenciling to create a piece that marries the 30’s to the 70’s. A lazy-susan was also added to the center.

“New Moon”

Polychrome mirror frame.
